French Toast Bagel Bake

Ingredients

  • Lender’s® French Toast or Plain Bagels
  • Non-stick Spray
  • 4 Eggs
  • ¼ Cup Milk
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 TBSP Brown Sugar
  • ¼ tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 TBSP Melted butter
  • 2 oz Cream Cheese (for Glaze)
  • 2 TBSP Maple syrup (for Glaze)
  • ¼ Cup Powdered Sugar (for Glaze)
  • 1 TBSP milk (for Glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°
  2. Coat a baking dish with non-stick spray
  3. Cut 6 Lender’s Bagels into bite size pieces and set aside
  4. In a medium bowl, combine milk, vanilla, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, and melted butter
  5. Whisk until well blended
  6. Pour bagel pieces into the bowl with the mixture and evenly coat all the bagel bits
  7. Pour coated bagels in an even layer into your baking dish
  8. Bake uncovered for 30 min
  9. Meanwhile make the icing by combining cream cheese, powdered sugar, maple syrup and milk
  10. While it’s finished baking, remove from oven and generously drizzle the maple sugar glaze atop your French toast bagel bake
